Stimulate maximum awareness in the media for the commercial opportunities afforded by the Jump Racing Industry through sponsorship - that’s what has been asked of us by Cheltenham Racecourse and the Jump Racing industry over the past six years.
A key part of our work has included the creation of Jump Racing Focus – an innovative annual report highlighting new initiatives and sponsors within the sport, the versatility and breadth of sponsorship opportunities, the media reach and sponsors activities, together with an overview of the latest independent research data from organisations such as Deloittes.
The objective was to utilise the report to enhance the reputation of Jump Racing as a thriving and growing business within the marketing and sponsorship community – with a view to attracting investment from blue chip sponsors.
Each edition of the report has provided the industry with an invaluable marketing tool and the material contained in the report has been successfully used as the basis for a number of media campaigns – generating impressive coverage within the marketing and business press.
After four very successful editions, we proposed in 2010 that Jump Racing should carry out its own dedicated research – a first for the industry – to produce a Special Edition of Focus.
Working with Cheltenham, Racing for Change and an independent research company, we formulated the brief and criteria and were involved in every aspect of the report’s production.
The material for this edition has also successfully been used to fuel a high profile campaign within the national press, resulting in further extensive coverage in the marketing and business media.
